Northpoint Church Partnership Agreement

As pastors and leaders at Northpoint Church, we commit to you, our partners in ministry, to feed and protect you in the following ways:

  1. Follow the counsel of the Word and seek and follow the leading of the Spirit regarding leadership decisions (1 Peter 5:23)
  2. Pray daily for you and your family (Philippians 1:4-5)
  3. Feed you the pure milk of the Word that you may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2)
  4. Mediate disputes between partners as needed (Matthew 18:15-17)
  5. Support you with prayer, faith, encouragement from the Scriptures, and practical help as needed in good times and trying times (Proverbs 17:17)
  6. Maintain a Godly lifestyle, doing our best by God's grace and the help of the Holy Spirit to live in accordance with the written Word of God (Titus 1:5-9)
  7. Contact you when we haven't seen you for a while (Luke 15:8-10)
  8. Lovingly, humbly, prayerfully, and by God's grace encourage you in a Godly lifestyle (Hebrews 13:17)

With prayerful consideration and the leading of the Holy Spirit, I acknowledge my desire to partner with Northpoint Church as my church family.  I commit to pursue a Christ centered, God glorifying life by gathering, growing, giving and going with the believers of Northpoint Church. I commit myself to love and service to my church family and agree to active participation rather than passive attendance. 

I commit to faithfulness in the following areas:

1. Praying for my leaders and for my church family - Ephesians 6:18-19
 2. Using my faith, my words, and my actions to come into agreement with the vision and direction in accordance with the Word of God as it is spoken from my leaders - Hebrews 13:17
 3. Speaking well of my church, my leaders, and my church family members
- 1 Corinthians 13:5
 4. Making the gatherings of NPC a priority in my life and regularly attending
- Hebrews 10:25
 5. Serving my church family by involving myself in service at regular gatherings as well as serving the individuals and families of NPC in other settings as the Holy Spirit leads - Romans 12:10, 1 Peter 4:9-10
 6. Supporting my church through tithes and offerings  - Malachi 3:10
7. Submission to the leadership of Northpoint Church in receiving wisdom and correction from my church leaders that is administered in love and in agreement with the Word of God as we together pursue faith, love, and a good conscience before God - Hebrews 13:17
 8. Walking in love with my church family (1 Peter 4:8) and resolving disagreements without gossip in accordance with the model revealed in Scripture:
A) Pray first -  1 John 5:16 
B) In humility and love, go directly to your brother or sister - Matthew 18:15
C) If not yet resolved, take another brother or sister with you - Matthew 18:16
D) If still not resolved, involve church leaders - Matthew 18:17
9. Honoring my church leaders and fellow partners - Romans 12:10
10. In considering leaving my Partnership agreement with Northpoint Church for any reason, making time to humbly and lovingly discuss this face-to-face with my pastors rather than leaving without notice - Romans 12:10
11. Adherence to the statement of faith of Northpoint Church as found at thenpc.com/partnership
