𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙂𝙀 𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘾𝙃 : Creating and fostering collaborations with local universities to provide awareness of opportunities within the commercial real estate industry to its emerging and future leaders in Orange County.

𝙀𝘿𝙐𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 – 𝙁𝙍𝙀𝙈 : Foundations of Real Estate Management is an instructor-led course that covers foundational material related to Commercial Real Estate and Property Management. The committee coordinates these course offerings which are typically held for approximately 4 hours on consecutive Fridays over over 5 weeks.

𝙀𝘿𝙐𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 – 𝙊𝙉 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙐 : Providing “bite sized” introductions to the fundamentals of commercial real estate on a quarterly basis.

𝙀𝘿𝙐𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 – 𝙎𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙍𝙎 : Occurring bi-annually and providing the membership with an in-depth discussion of key topics and latest trends in the marketplace.

𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙔 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎 : Identifying exemplary safety, security, emergency preparedness and incident prevention practices in the commercial property field, and providing educational resources for members about the security, life safety assessment and planning tools, as well as the range of preparedness, and mitigation/recovery options available to them.

𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙎 – 𝘽𝙊𝙒𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 : Strengthening associations in an informal atmosphere where individuals can get to know each other on a personal basis at a local bowling alley. The committee plans, develops and implements the program, cooperating with PAC fundraising as well as a local charity and secures sponsorship.

𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙎 – 𝙂𝙊𝙇𝙁 𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙄𝘾 : Strengthening associations by hosting a first-class event that attracts current and prospective clients for member companies. The committee plans, develops and implements the program, hosts a silent auction where proceeds go to a local charity, works in cooperation with BOMA Orange County PAC to assist in fundraising and secures sponsorships.

𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙎 – 𝙏𝙊𝘽𝙔 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙎 𝙊𝙁 𝙀𝙓𝘾𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 : Planning, developing and executing the BOMA Orange County Annual Awards of Excellence Gala to recognize nominees and winners of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) and Real Estate Professionals. The committee oversees all aspects of the gala from location to volunteers, themes and décor, securing sponsorships and marketing.

𝙂𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙉𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝘼𝙁𝙁𝘼𝙄𝙍𝙎 : Improving the influence of the government on the commercial real estate industry.

𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙐𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙔 𝙇𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙃𝙀𝙊𝙉𝙎 : delivering the latest research and market trends regarding the commercial real estate industry. The committee efforts include emphasis on programs regarding different building types, leadership, exploring what owners and managers find valuable in today’s market, and networking opportunities.

𝙈𝙀𝙈𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙃𝙄𝙋 : Strengthening the association through implementation of effective recruiting and retention programs. The Membership Committee plans, develops and implements strategies for retaining and attracting owners and property management companies.

𝙉𝙀𝙏𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂 : Strengthening associations while showcasing Allied Members. The committee plans, develops and implements networking events throughout the year.

𝙋𝙃𝙄𝙇𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙃𝙍𝙊𝙋𝙔 : Connecting people who want to help others by leveraging our Commercial Real Estate community and resources. We support our local community through the our drives and annual fundraiser, while also partnering with additional BOMA events to raise additional awareness and funds.

𝙏𝙊𝘽𝙔 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙎 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙄𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙀 : The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) recognizes properties that exemplify best management operational practices making this the most prestigious and comprehensive awards program in the Commercial Real Estate industry. It is our industry’s “Oscar” honoring the best of the best. The committee guides property managers through the TOBY application process.

𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙉𝙂 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙍𝙎 : Promoting and developing careers in the real estate industry; networking within a peer group, to increase industry awareness to local students and future professionals and encourage membership involvement within the association. The committee organizes speakers and plans numerous educational and networking events throughout the year.

𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙎 : A short-term, limited time commitment committee only a few meetings and no longer than a month in duration
