VIU Mission: Sustainability -- Week 3
The operative word for this week is rain!

DYK? Here in Vancouver Island we live in a rainforest-- but that doesn’t equate to taking the resulting rich water resource for granted!

You may have a bit of a breather this week, so what better time to get out and recharge in nature--rain or not!

Do you think a lot about water? Most of us don't. This week is a chance to explore how water seeps into everyday life! (HINT: Every day nearly all the time )

This week, we encourage you to think about how you can be a good steward of water and forests and to try out a few climate action strategies. Yes, they're linked!

Submit this form by Sunday, February 21 to be entered into a random draw for a nifty weekly prize (VIU Sustainability hoodie and VIU Sustainability mug).

All entries will be entered into a random draw at the end of this campaign for other prizes.

You can see the heat!
Borrow an infrared camera from the VIU library and see where you might be losing heat that you don’t need to. Take a picture of that heat loss, and tell us how you plan to do better now that you know better! Send the picture and your remediation plan to sustainability@viu.ca
