Each person has gone through many experiences throughout their lives - we have seen this for centuries, and we can all tell many of our own stories.
What is currently measured through formal examinations in school does not correspond to the actual level of competence(s) of the examined students.
Through the use of portfolios, we can create a holistic and relevant assessment system that really measures and represents the level of competence of the students.
From the working world's perspective, we will finally see certificates that represent real acquired/achieved skills.
Dr Urs Hauenstein's portfolio methodology has been used in WOB Bozen, Italy, for many years. In this webinar, Markus Feichter (WOB's Director) and Dr Urs Hauenstein will showcase portfolio exams, with examples.
