When used effectively, rubrics are a powerful tool to support students in producing high-quality work. Rubrics are an assessment tool to help teachers clarify expectations for their students and to assess student work with consistency. Join emeritus PBLWorks National Faculty member Erin Gannon for this practical one-day, online synchronous workshop to enhance your rubric know-how and learn:

 - Why rubrics? and When is it most appropriate to use them?
 - What are the types of rubrics (holistic, analytic, single point) and When are they most appropriate to utilize?
 - How do you know a high-quality rubric when you find one?
 - How can rubrics be used with students for critique and revisions?
 - How can we create student-generated rubrics with our students?
 - How can we create our own rubric?

•No registration fee will be charged if cancellation is received 14 days prior to the start date of the workshop.
•Credit card payments will be refunded minus any applicable PayPal fees (2.9% plus 30 cents).
