The Muscle Shoals High School Homecoming Parade is a function of Muscle Shoals High School and only those clubs and organizations affiliated with the Muscle Shoals School System and/or its students may participate.  Political candidates are not allowed to participate in the Homecoming Parade. The parade will be on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 3:00 pm.

Every organization participating in the parade must complete the Homecoming Parade form below and provide the name and contact information of the sponsor.  The description of the entry must be included on the form.  All entries must be cleared by Ms. Holt and the form completed by Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

Items should not be thrown from floats.  Organizations which choose to throw candy assume any liability associated with this decision. Muscle Shoals City Schools, and specifically the Homecoming Parade Director, is not liable for any action performed by any parade participant.

NO motorcycles, bikes, or skateboards may participate in the parade.

Parade line-ups will be available on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 online on the MSHS webpage. Lineups will also be emailed to float sponsors.  This will help eliminate confusion on Friday, September 6, 2019.

The Senior Class will build the Queen’s Float, which will not be judged.  Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior class floats must follow the theme and be within building guidelines provided by the Homecoming Committee.  Failure to adhere to these guidelines may cause the entry not to be judged and may result in removal from the parade.  Any club or class may have only one entry in the parade.  Each class or club must finance their entry and a faculty member must supervise all work.  

ALL participating vehicles should start lining up on Trojan Lane and Brown Street at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 6, 2019, Trojan Lane, behind the football stadium.  All cars and floats return to their original location on Trojan Lane and Brown Street to disassemble.  All trash MUST be picked up and thrown away in the dumpsters at this location after the parade.
