"Three Towns, One Earth" Neighborhood and Roadside Clean-up
Thanks for participating in this year's Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel roadside and neighborhood clean-up, sponsored by the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust, the Kennebunk Land Trust and the Arundel Conservation Trust!  We really appreciate your participation in helping to keep our towns and roadsides looking beautiful!

By filling out this form, you will help us keep track of how many people are participating, what areas are being cleaned up and where we need to assist people with trash pickup.

The cleanup will take place this year on April 23rd and 24th to coincide with Earth Day 2022.  Trash bags will be available the week prior to the event in all 3 towns.  In Arundel, this will be at the fire department.  In Kennebunk, bags will be out in front of the Kennebunk Land Trust offices and in Kennebunkport, they will be outside the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust offices.  If you aren't able to participate on these 2 days, no worries!  Get out there any time and pitch in - feel free to still sign up and let us know when/where you are working (we may not be able to provide pickup, however).

What to do with what you collect?  In Kennebunkport, you can include it with your regular trash on pick-up day or you can bring it to the dumpster at KCT on Gravelly Brook Road.  In Arundel, if you need it to be picked up, just note on the form below where it will be and Arundel Public Works will pick it up on Monday or Tuesday.  In Kennebunk, you can bring it to the Sea Road transfer station and load it into the truck set up for that purpose any time between Friday afternoon and Monday morning - or let us know below if you will need it to be picked up.

Please take some photos and share them with us either via email (nthnlsnow@gmail.com) or with any of the three organizations on social media (using the hashtag #3towns1Earth).

Please be safe when out collecting trash on the roadsides!  Wear bright colors and pay attention to traffic.  If working on a busy stretch of road, consider using times that aren't traffic heavy.  Dress for the conditions; it can be wet and dirty.  Be aware of and check yourself regularly for ticks.  Never pick up needles or anything that looks suspicious.  If you find something you have concerns about, mark its location and let local authorities know so it can be handled properly.  Be safe and have fun!

You can just fill out one form for each group participating, but please include everyone's name!  Please complete this form by 5pm on Friday, April 22rd. If you have any questions about the event or issues with this form, please feel free to email me directly at nthnlsnow@gmail.com.   #3towns1earth   #everydayisearthday
