Panel proposal: “Six decades of the Past, six decades for the Future”
“Six decades of the Past, six decades for the Future”; an International conference celebrating 60 years of teaching and researching International Relations in Slovenia aims to capture both the past and the present, in the light of challenges that the world has overcome or is yet to overcome.

As this is the celebration of the discipline, we do not wish to make any restrictions with regard to topics: it’s the knowledge that matters! We welcome both papers and panels that reflect on the Cold War period, ideally from today’s perspective and those that discuss contemporary international relations since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Given the focus in teaching of international relations in Slovenia, we will be particularly happy to receive submissions dealing with history, international politics, IR theory, international political economy, international economic relations, politics of international law, development studies, conflict management, migration, the role of education, EU studies (history, politics, and policies, EU as a global actor), regional studies and global governance.

Panel proposals should should consist of three to five individual presentations. The proposal should include a proposed title for the panel, information of the convenor (name, institution, email), as well as an introduction to the panel as a whole. Following this more general introduction should be the description of the individual presentations: give the title and author of each subsequent presentation as well as a short abstract of each and up to five keywords.
