Thank you for your interest in the Theatre/Dance Musical production!

Auditions will take place in Jonsson 1.1216 (The Rehearsal Hall) August 20th -22nd from 7:00pm to 10:00pm

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: All singer/actors must prepare a one minute  selection from a Rock Musical or strong character song. These singer/actor auditions will take place on August 20th and 21st.
You may also be given a short reading or song from the musical at the audition.

Dance auditions will be held on August 22nd at 7:00pm in JO 1.216. Callbacks will also take place during this time. All singer/actors should attend these dance auditions.

PERFORMANCE DATES: Show dates for The Rocky Horror Show are October 31 through November 9th

**November 10th will be STRIKE which everyone MUST attend.

Some principal characters have clothing requirements (corsets, dressing down to underwear) and The Rocky Horror Show does contain adult content. Further details for these specific roles will be given at the audition.

If cast, actor/singers have the opportunity to enroll in THEA 3310 Theatre Performance/Ensemble. Credit for this class is given based on satisfactory performance in rehearsals and performances of the musical. If you are not cast but still wish to work behind the scenes, you may still enroll in the course upon agreement to take on a tech position (backstage crew, spotlight operators, Assistant Stage Manager). Rehearsals will begin September 3rd. The schedule is as follows: Tuesdays-Thursdays from 7:00pm-10pm, Friday dance rehearsal in the afternoon, Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Not all of the cast will be required to attend each rehearsal until October 15th for full run throughs. October 26 and 27th will be the tech weekend for the production; no one should have conflicts on either of those dates.
