LIFT Volunteer Registration
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. You make the mission of LIFT possible. As such, we hold you to a high standard, as we do our staff. Before filling our volunteer registration form, please review the following expectations.

Volunteer Policies & Conduct
  • All volunteers should arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to the start of any program or event unless an arrival time is otherwise specified. Tardiness should be communicated to the program or event coordinator as soon as possible.
  • If you are unable to attend a program or event that you had previously signed up for, please alert the program or event coordinator as soon as you become aware of the change, so that they may adjust and fill the gap.
  • All volunteers should be dressed appropriately for any event or program:
    - Please wear an appropriate shirt or sweatshirt.
    - We ask that volunteers do not wear inappropriately short shorts or leggings.
  • We have a zero-tolerance policy for the following behaviors while volunteering at LIFT. Failure to comply with these expectations may result in a volunteer being asked to leave and not being permitted to volunteer in future programs/events:
    - Use or possession of tobacco products
    - Use or possession of alcohol
    - Use or possession of recreational drugs
    - Use of possession of firearms or weapons
    - Swearing or inappropriate language
    - Romance or extreme public displays of affection
Security
  • You should not have anything with you of sentimental value that would cause stress or hardship if lost. Be mindful of your valuables.
  • LIFT and all of its programs are not responsible for the theft or damage of your valuables.
  • Background checks will be mandatory for all volunteers.
