The CAAEYC Professional Development Committee is excited to roll out new professional development opportunities for our members and all who support early learning in California. We are familiar with Developmentally Appropriate Practice in classrooms, and as we were discussing and reflecting on our programs, we realized we are not meeting all elements of developmentally appropriate and inclusive professional development for all those interested in participating.

Our typical offerings have been Zoom webinars, in-person workshops or our annual conference. We are diversifying our offerings to meet the needs of all learners, time and schedules, breadth of audience and topics, and accessibility.

Please take a few minutes to help us provide the most appropriate and acceptable professional development opportunities for our members and communities. There are 8 questions in this survey to help us with scheduling, prioritizing topics and offerings.
