Young-Scientist.in is offering a challenging course on Astronomy and Astrophysics at the YS Science Centre. The intake will be limited and the course will begin on June 15th. The course will comprise of 12 sessions, one per week, on Saturday evenings: 5 PM to 6:30 PM
Eligibility:
Class VI to IX
Course Objective:
1. To introduce the basic to intermediate concepts in astronomy, astrophysics and astrobiology.
2. Provide an overview of the current understanding of the cosmos.
3. Gain an understanding of the cosmic structures, their origins and the fate of the Universe according to science.
Course Structure:
The following topics will be the focus during the corresponding sessions. The treatment of the subject will be as rigorous as possible with theoretical work in the forefront. We will use powerpoint presentations, discussions, debates, group activities, demonstrations, worksheets and quizzes to deliver the content. Each session will last 90 minutes.
Note: Stargazing is not a part of the course and will only be offered as a bonus depending on the availability of resources.

Those who make a single complete payment in advance of course commencement will receive a 10% discount.
You also have the option of paying 50% of the fee before the 1st session and the remaining 50% before the 7th session.
