Thank you for your interest in volunteering! There are many moving parts when executing a conference, and we would not be able to do it without you! Below are the descriptions of the conference volunteer opportunities. Please review and take a moment to fill out this form so we can do our best to assign you based on your preferences and availability.
Please note - we will do our best to schedule you according to your preferences and availability, however, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned your preferred choice.
Volunteer Roles -
Greeter - Welcomes attendees into the room. Attendees must have badge on to enter. The greeter(s) should be comfortable asking the attendee to go back and get their badge before entering the room.
Learning Session Room Moderator - Responsible for welcoming the audience, getting the session started on time, introducing the speaker(s), getting a count of the number of attendees in the room, and making sure attendees are aware of and complete the post-session survey.
Registration - Greet attendees and hand out name badges as they arrive.
Prize booth at Showcase - This is a 1 hour time commitment during Showcase. NACUFS has a booth set up with donated prizes from exhibitors. Attendees will fill out and drop their Showcase drawing card in the box. As the volunteer, you will be responsible for drawing, tracking and announcing the name of the winner and their prize.
Wayfinder - This is a great option for first-time attendees/volunteers who want to ease into things and get comfortable with their surroundings.
Volunteer Check-in - All volunteers are instructed to check-in at volunteer check-in prior to their shift. You will have a copy of the volunteer schedule and let volunteers know what their responsibility is and where they should be.
