The Mandt System is a comprehensive, integrated approach to preventing, de-escalating, and if necessary, intervening when the behavior of an individual poses a threat of harm to themselves and/or others.

PART I:  Mandt Relational Training
Friday, April 29, 2022  from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. via Zoom
Registration for Relational training is capped at 20 participants. This session will be held online via Zoom. Lunch hour will be on your own.

Chapter 1 – Building Healthy Relationships
Foundational beliefs, working as a team, dealing with emotions, causes of stress, and crisis cycle.

Chapter 2 – Building Healthy Communication
Nonverbal elements in communication, vocal elements in communication, verbal elements in communication: strategies for de-escalation.

Chapter 3 – Building Healthy Conflict Resolution
Communicating through problem solving, problem solving techniques.

*Notice about PART II:  Mandt Technical Training
If you are interested in registering for a potential in-person technical training, please check the box in the registration form so we can contact you to schedule a possible training in your area, at your school, or at your organization. Technical training instructs physical assists. This workshop is capped at 10 participants. There will be an additional registration fee for this training to be determined.
In order to take the Technical training, you must have completed a recent Relational training. We will try to assist people needing this training depending on public health recommendations in the coming months.
