Introduction to Survey Design and Analysis  
In this introduction to survey design, learn best practices for writing survey questions to ensure valid and reliable results. Participants will explore how choosing a question type (i.e., multiple-choice, Likert scale) will impact the experience of analyzing the results. This workshop will be taught by Tibor Toth.
Excel: Calculations and Key Tools
In this intermediate-level Excel workshop, learn how to use functions, formulas and other tools instead of manual calculations. This workshop will be taught by Ellen Schenk and Sarah Pragg.
Excel: Data Visualization
In this intermediate-level Excel workshop, learn how to create charts and customize their appearance. This workshop will be taught by Ellen Schenk and Sarah Pragg.
Excel: Pivot Tables
In this intermediate-level Excel workshop, learn how to create a pivot table, sort and filter the data, and add calculated fields. This workshop will be taught by Ellen Schenk and Sarah Pragg.
The Art of the Cover Letter and Interview Prep
Learn how to craft a cover letter to make your application stand out from the stack. This session will also cover tips for preparing for interviews. This workshop will be taught by Adam Helgeson, Career Counselor, UD’s Career Center.
Stata: Working with Multiple Data Sets
Building on the tools learned last semester, this Stata workshop will explore cleaning data sets and running regression analysis on multiple years of data. This workshop will be taught by Ellen Schenk.
The Geographic Part of the Story – Maps, Map Apps and Story Maps
In this introduction to Esri’s ArcGIS Online, you will learn to access data, take an excel table to create a data layer, and create a map. Then you will learn how to take that map and create different kinds of mapping applications, such as a simple basic viewer and more complex story maps. Participating students will gain access to UD's ArcGIS Online Organizational Account. This workshop will be taught by Nicole Minni.
