TEAMS are encouraged to have at least two students from the same Falmouth School.  Classrooms can enter up to 4 teams.

One design per team. Clipper Ship Challenge takes place during FPS STEAM Fair .

Saturday, March 16 at Falmouth High School (874 Gifford Street).    Ships leave port at 10:30 am.

TEAMS OF STUDENTS are strongly encouraged.

MATERIALS ALLOWED:

Paper, Clay, String, Tape, Cardboard, Popsicle sticks, Glue, Aluminum Foil, Non-plastic straws, and Craft Stems (aka pipe cleaners)

Size: Boat must be smaller than 8.5 inches by 11 inches (Fit inside a standard sheet of printer paper)

Weight and Height: No restrictions

NO BALLOONS ARE ALLOWED!

All boats will be tested in aquarium tanks

Boats must be designed to hold the most mass (pennies) 

Points & prizes for designs with the lightest weight, for Clipper color decor, and Cool names.
