This class is a basic watercolour class for kids ages 7-12 years old who would like to learn basic watercolour techniques, build confidence in themselves as they create beautiful pictures and have fun doing it!


WORKSHOP DATES: October 3, 10, 17 & 24 (Saturdays)

Time: 4:00 PM

Materials you need to prepare are as follows:

-Watercolour paper (please cut to 1/2  )
-Watercolour set (I recommend Simbalion for kids)
-Basic watercolour brushes - (At least one big round brush and 1 small thin brush)
-2 Cups for water
-Paper towel  or tissue
-Pencil and eraser
-Ruler
Masking tape
Hair blower (highly recommended, but not required)

FEE: PHP 1,400 per child (4 sessions)

*350/session X 4 weeks per child

Additional notes:

-All sessions will be done on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to your email once payment has been made.

- Since dates are provided prior to registration, there will be no refunds or makeup classes; however, you may give your slot to another child who will be available should your child be absent for a session.

-All sessions will be recorded for the benefit of those who may have problems with their internet connection during the session, or those who may be absent. Please note that the links will expire as soon as the month ends.

-Please note that I can only accommodate a maximum of 10 kids for this workshop, as I try to be interactive with the kids and guide them on their works the best possible way. Your slot will be considered filled once you've confirmed your registration. Registration will be closed once all the slots have been paid for.

The mics will be muted during instruction time, but the kids are allowed to turn on their mics and ask me questions during the sessions.

-Each session is set for only for 1 hour, but we may extend time depending on how quick the kids are able to keep up with each step.

ABOUT THE ART TEACHER

Hi! My name is May and I am a homeschooling mom of 3 boys. I have joined various art workshops - in Watercolour and brush lettering - in the past two years, and currently taking short non-credit online courses on Modern Art and Watercolour techniques to further enhance my knowledge and skills in art, so I can pass them on to eager young learners.

I consider myself  an Art enthusiast and hobbyist. I have been teaching my kids and their friends Arts, Crafts and Music since my eldest was 5 years old.

In 2019 ,I has started meeting a group of homeschooling kids to introduce them to the joy of watercolour art. We continue to meet via Zoom every week even after the lockdown, and the number of learners painting with me weekly has grown since.
