Intern, Fundraising Strategy
Description: We are looking for individuals who can help us devise effective fundraising strategies. With the end goal of amplifying our fundraising efforts, we require you to help us determine a solid foundation that allows us to enhance our donor base through well-thought-out fundraising strategies. As any fundraising strategy must be premised on an honest articulation of our values, impact and transparency, you will get the opportunity to closely view how all our interventions are shaped by our team’s intersectional approach to every issue that plagues the domain of education. Your work will thus involve finding ways to effectively communicate our efforts to increase our donor base. As a non-profit we aspire to tap into innovative streams of donations through membership plans, matching donors and fundraising drives. We would like you to help us successfully devise and implement mechanisms that can define our fundraising flows.

The intern’s responsibilities will include:

1. Streamline and determine the Organisation’s fundraising efforts by devising a targeted strategy to increase funding through promotion of our efforts, vision and mission.
2. Devise strategy for the Organisation’s financial sustainability and determine realistic fundraising targets.
3. Develop creative strategies to launch and execute Project specific fundraisers/campaigns.
4. Identify and strategize effective fundraising for targeted potential donor base.
5. Identify relevant grant making bodies that can be targeted to develop compelling funding proposals and applications.
6. Devise creative online fundraising campaigns for operational sustainability of the Organisation.

Duration: 2 Months from the date of joining

Please note that there is no stipend attached to this position. This is an unpaid, voluntary work opportunity.
