We’re quickly entering “official” wedding season! It’s an exciting time of year, isn’t it?! For those soon to be married it surely is! But have you ever stopped to wonder if the wedding ceremony and some of its traditions have a deeper meaning? For instance, have you thought about the bridegroom leaving his father’s home to betroth his bride for a price, or the covenant agreement between them, or that he would leave a token of his promise to return for her? If you’ve studied Scripture, some of these themes should sound familiar!

This year, our Ladies’ Spring Brunch will highlight some of these traditions, and how the Church, who is the Bride of Christ, should be readying herself for her Bridegroom’s imminent return.

We would love to have you join us on Saturday, May 4, from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. to be encouraged and excited as we discover what it means to be the Bride of Christ. Brunch will be provided. For ladies in junior high on up. Please RSVP below.
