DEMOCRATIC PARTY COMMITTEE ABROAD
MEMBERS’ ACTION BY WRITTEN CONSENT
PURSUANT TO SECTION 3.9 OF THE DEMOCRATS ABROAD CHARTER

The undersigned, being ninety percent (90%) of the members of the Democratic Party Committee Abroad do hereby declare and state pursuant to Section 3.9 of the Democrats Abroad Charter that they hereby adopt the following resolutions and take the following action without a meeting:

WHEREAS, the Democratic Party Committee Abroad (DPCA) is required to submit a Delegate Selection Plan to the Rules and Bylaws Committee of the Democratic National Committee on or before May 3, 2019;  

WHEREAS the draft of the Delegate Selection Plan was posted on Democrats Abroad's website on March 8, 2019 and thereby made available to the public for comment for a thirty (30) day period, which expired on April 8, 2019;

WHEREAS the comments received from the public are appended to the revised draft of the Democrats Abroad 2020 Delegate Selection Plan; and

WHEREAS, the DPCA Executive Committee has reviewed and unanimously adopted the current draft of the proposed Delegate Selection Plan by resolution on April 12, 2019.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the draft of the Democrats Abroad 2020 Delegate Selection Plan appended hereto is adopted by the written consent of at least ninety percent (90%) of the membership of the DPCA as permitted under Section 3.9 of the Democrats Abroad Charter.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the DPCA officers are authorized and directed, in the name and on behalf of the DPCA, to execute and deliver such documents and to do or to cause to be done all such acts as are contemplated by the foregoing resolution and that all actions heretofore taken and all documents heretofore executed and delivered by the DPCA officers, or any of them individually, in furtherance of the foregoing resolutions be, and they hereby are, ratified, confirmed, and adopted in all respects; and

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Written Consent may be executed by electronically and in one or more counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original and all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.
