The overarching theme of this show is 'Great Heart'. This is meant to reflect the strength, kindness, courage, generosity and wisdom of lgbt*q+ people- particularly within our local community,  a year on from our area's most devastating natural disaster in recent memory - as well as the greater community in the current social, political and global climate.

Within the larger LGBT*Q+ 'Great Heart' show, there will be a special exhibit, called "Trans* Freedom Rising", which artists may choose to opt in to. All work in this exhibit will be by and/or about transgender, non-binary or 2-spirit people and their identities, struggles, accomplishments or experiences. A second performance space will be available within this exhibit area.
