Graduate Student Scholarship Application for 2019 Pre-convention LGBTQ Workshop
On Wednesday, August 7, 2019, six divisions of the American Psychological Association (APA)--Divisions 7, 9, 27, 37, 43, and 44--will be hosting a one-day Pre-convention LGBTQ Workshop in Chicago, IL. The Pre-convention LGBTQ Workshop immediately precedes the 2019 APA Convention, which will be held August 8-11 in Chicago, IL.

Through grant support from the Committee on Division/APA Relations (CODAPAR), Divisions co-sponsoring the workshop will be able to offer scholarships for a select number of graduate students who wish to attend the workshop. Students who receive a scholarship will have the workshop registration fee ($30) waived. Applications for scholarships will be reviewed by committee members of those Divisions to which applicants belong.

If you are a graduate student who would like to apply for a graduate student scholarship, please complete this short application by Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Applicants will be notified of their award status by close of business on Monday, May 13, 2019 (early bird registration for the APA Convention ends on Wednesday, May 15, 2019). IMPORTANT: Please do not register for the workshop before you hear about your award status as we cannot issue refunds and you will need the fee waiver discount code to register for free as a graduate student scholarship recipient.

Questions? Please contact event co-organizer and Division 9 Policy Director Sarah Mancoll (E: smancoll@spssi.org, T: 202-675-6956).

NOTE: We are now in "round two" of scholarship applications. The first round of applications closed on March 15, 2019.
