Then we, the residents of Avnø Oasis, are as curious to get to know you.

We assume you've already familiarized your self a little with the project on our website: http://oasis-ecovillage.dk/

We are aiming to grow as a community in 2022 & 2023 to a total of up to 30 adults and their kids.

The guiding principle of Avnø Oasis is to compassionately connect with our selves, each other & the environment and contribute towards a thriving world. We are located in the countryside in the middle of a nature reserve with both sea, woods and beach meadows with all the opportunities and limitations this gives.

For us the place and the project is an amazing opportunity to grow as humans and co-create an alternative model of livelihood, where we live as humans are supposed to:
- In a conscious community.
- With the possibility to bring or create our own green enterprise or co-create one with other community members
- In a home centered in & around nature.
- With a Peoples College, from where we can share skills for a sustainable life and inspire the world around us.
- With very reasonable expenses.

Joining a community is a process and a serious step for both parties. To take care of all of us in this process, we've designed some common sense steps:

3) Please schedule a talk with us.
4) Join an EXPLORE AND CO-CREATE LIFE IN AVNØ OASIS week.
6) If it seems appropriate, formulate your commitment for an explorer period, so we can get to know each other and find out if we are a good match. During the explorer period you will have a mentor to support you in finding your role in the community. People with skills we need and time to invest in the community may apply to be volunteers during their explorer period.
7) Midway evaluation after 2 & 4 months or when requested.
8) After 4 or more months you may apply to be a partner of the project.
