Spring 2023 Green Student Intern Application
GSIP Application – Spring 2023

Applications, including resumes and cover letters, due  no later than December 4 (Sunday) at 11:59 p.m.

Members of the Green Student Intern Program (GSIP) team work directly with full-time staff in the University of Mississippi Office of Sustainability to support the university’s sustainability goals. Each intern will have responsibilities specific to their specialization as well as shared responsibilities, in which each intern works collaboratively to support all office projects and programs.  Interns may work on tasks including but not limited to: project implementation, research and data collection, volunteer coordination, meeting facilitation, event planning, and light-to-moderate physical labor.

Selected candidates will work in a highly collaborative and adaptive environment, with one-on-one feedback and constructive mentorship. Interns work 15-20 hours per week, Auxiliary Staff work 3-5 hours per week, and both position types start at $12/hour.

Applicants must indicate 1-2 preferred specialization(s): Earth Month Coordinator, Green Thumb Coordinator, Office Communications Coordinator, Compost Collective Auxiliary Staff, and Volunteer Appreciation Auxiliary Staff.

Those applying to any of the three internship positions must submit their resume and cover letter using this form or email it to krkidd@olemiss.edu. If you are ONLY applying to an auxiliary staff position, then you will not need to submit a cover letter or resume.
