Informed Consent Form - 20 Ways to Answer Binary Questions in VR
Dear participant,

We are conducting a study that consists on comparing the usage of different interaction techniques to answer Yes/No questions in Virtual Reality.
For this, we need your contribution!

To participate in this study, you will collaborate in a test, in which you will be presented with the prototype of the experience that we have developed. You will be asked to go through the scenario we have created, consisting of interacting and answer Yes/No questions posed by virtual characters. Before begining the session you will be asked several demographic questions for inclusion in the study. At the end of the session you will then be asked to fill in a preference and satisfaction questionnaire and a presence questionnaire. If you permit it, we might register video, audio and image recordings throughout the session, so that we can obtain more specific data that will help in the analysis of the results.

All information obtained, including photographs, video and audio, will be treated confidentially and will not be revealed to anyone. However, it may be used for statistical analysis and for scientific purposes. We commit to keep the data for 5 years. After this period, all information will be deleted. If you wish, you can request the removal of the data at any time. Your authorization to participate in this study is voluntary, and you may, if you wish, deny the consent and abandon the session at any time.
