LIONS’ PRIDE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Any senior graduating from Howard High School who meets the following
requirements, is eligible to apply for the Lions’ Pride Scholarship Award.

1. The applicant must agree to use the funds to further his or her education
beyond the high school level.

2. The applicant must have a minimum grade point average (unweighted) of
2.60 through the second marking period of the student’s senior year. The
grade point average must be verified by Mr. David Glenn or his designee in
the guidance office.

3. The applicant must have participated in one or more of the following
activities:
a) Varsity or Junior Varsity athletic team sport
b) Varsity or Junior Varsity Cheerleading
c) A team-supported activity recognized by Lions’ Pride, for example, team
managers, statisticians, etc.

THESE ACTIVITIES MUST BE VERIFIED BY THE APPROPRIATE COACH
OR SPONSOR

4. Return the completed application to Mr. David Glenn in the guidance office
no later than Friday May 1, 2021.
