Thank you for voting in the California Community College Council for Staff Development (4CSD) board elections.
Voting is open Monday, November 7 through 5 PM on Friday, November 17, 2022.
Details (Please review carefully):
- Each college/district office gets one vote for each open seat. If more than one person from the same campus happens to vote and voted for different candidates, we will reach out to those voters and ask them to come to a consensus on their selection.
- Typically, Board seats are for two year terms. However, due to the move of the conference from March to October, the Board made adjustments to the current terms. As a result, the seats available in this election are 18-month and 30-month terms.
- The 4CSD bylaws state that there should be equal distribution of the 10 board member seats between Northern CA (5) and Southern CA (5).
The current board has 1 member from Northern CA and 2 from Southern CA who are all in seats that expire in June 2023 (there will be elections again this Spring for these seats). Therefore, there are currently 4 Northern CA seats open and 3 Southern CA seats open.
