Otter Creek Backpacking 2019 SIGN UP and Permission Form

What: Ever thought about being a true adventurer backpacking dude? Can first year scouts actually backpack? Do mom's even go backpacking? The answers are YES, YES, and Absolutely YES! In 2015 we had 5 - 1st year scouts and parents and 1 Mom out of 28. In years past we have even had 3 Moms attend with their 1st year Scouts - Mrs. Alban, Mrs. Porter. and Mrs. Clark.

Who: Purposefully designed for 1st year scouts with a parent. The preparation outlined below ensures both 1st year scout and parent are trained and ready to go. 1st year scouts are required to hike with one of their parents.  ALL ARE WELCOME. We count on senior scouts to help out, gain experience, and assist in the adventure.
