CCGC's First Annual Smash Tournament @ Connecticut College
Connecticut College Gaming Club is hosting a Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament! The event will be starting at 12 PM on April 28th in the Crozier William Student Center (270 Mohegan Ave Pkwy, New London, CT).

The tournament will follow standard tournament rules (no items, no smash meter, etc.). Additionally, the tournament will be seeded, every match will be best of 3, top 8 will be best of 5, and the tournament will have double elimination/loser's bracket, so you aren't out of the tournament until you lose two matches.

$5 Fee for Competitors
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT
This event, in addition to being a tournament, is also a charity event. Therefore, we ask that everyone who would like to compete contribute 5 dollars. All of this money will be put either towards the prize pool of the tournament or will be donated to St. Jude's Children Hospital after the event is over. If you would like to pay online, you may send 5 dollars to our paypal:       https://paypal.me/CCGCSmash       If you would like to pay in person, we will be running registration tables every so often (specific times have not yet been confirmed) in the Crozier Williams Student Center (270 Mohegan Ave Pkwy, New London, CT), where you can stop by and pay. THIS PAYMENT IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO COMPETE. It doesn't matter when you decide to pay, HOWEVER the sooner the better as it will be easier for us to organize the tournament. I understand that upfront payments like these can be nervewracking, so If you are uncertain or have any questions about it, feel free to send me an email at twillis@conncoll.edu and I'll do see what I can do to help.
