Writing Liberation: sign up
Create original spoken word and music to break cages built around hearts and people. This workshop magnifies the world-changing power of your written and spoken words by combining them with music. Facilitated by Tarishi Shuler and a series of amazing guest poets and rappers, you'll create your own poems, raps, and songs aimed at personal and societal liberation, then combine your words with Neighborhood Music School students' musical skills and instruments.

No writing, musical, or performance experience necessary. Poets, songwriters, lyricists, musicians, dancers, actors, beatmakers and all others welcome!

This workshop is offered FREE to all.
