Heron Haven May Invasive Species Workdays
Join Heron Haven Nature Center for an invasive species volunteer clean-up day!
Volunteers will be helping Heron Haven remove invasive bush honeysuckle from the forest understory.

We encourage volunteers to bring their own loppers, pruning shears, and hand saws to help remove Honeysuckle. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves, safety glasses, and water bottle to ensure their safety and comfort. We also recommend wearing closed-toe shoes, pants, and a long sleeve shirt. A water refill station and some snacks will be provided.

Participation in this volunteer activity does require signing Heron Haven’s safety waiver which will be available the day of.
