Art Fight 2023 MAP
Welcome to the second Art Fight MAP! 

A MAP, or multiple animator project, is a collection of short, animated clips created by various artists compiled together, usually to a specific song. 

We are hosting a FCFS (first come first serve) MAP where your assigned song section will be an attack on another user. At the end of the month, your attack will be compiled with all the other attacks and edited into the chosen song.

THIS IS A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE MAP. THE FIRST 30 PARTICIPANTS MAY JOIN; OTHERS MAY SIGN UP TO BE A BACKUP.

  • The final product itself doesn't count as an attack; each part will be uploaded as their own individual attacks. This is to ensure that each participant receives the correct points and the parts are fairly rated.

  • Characters in the attack do not have to belong to other participants, although it is a nice gesture. Any character(s) from ArtFight can be used within character permissions, just like any other attack.

  • This is a cross-team attack! Participants may come from either team. Full stats will be given at the end, including: Total points, total points per team, and the highest scoring part.

  • There are 30 total parts, timed to the beat. This means that parts are not cut to the same exact length.

  • You will receive your part and audio clip on July 1st, but we will reach out before then to invite you to the server!
Rules
  • All ArtFight rules must be followed -- this means collaborations are NOT allowed.

  • Avoid any major mature content -- we want the final product to be as accessible as possible! There will be a preemptive Epilepsy warning for minor flashing.

  • Parts should fall under the animation category: they can be styled as an animation or an animatic/PMV, and can be made with any medium (2D, 3D, Stop motion, etc.), with any finish.

  • Make sure you read the permissions for ALL characters you include! We want to be sure everyone is comfortable having their OC in a mass attack setting.

  • We will put usernames in your part for the final upload to make the video consistent! You may add your own watermarks in your individual uploads, but please have a clean one to send to us!

  • The deadline is July 30. Please notify the host if you need to drop out so that your spot can be given to a backup!


  • You may swap parts with another user or alter the timings, but you both MUST alert the hosts so that the information can be updated.
