PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING:
Honors courses are taught with higher expectations than a normal, on-level class. Dual Credit courses are college-level courses taught on the FWC campus in collaboration with a four-year university. Students who are accepted into advanced courses are expected to remain in the course for the entire year.
Please be aware of additional costs as follows:
- Students accepted into a dual credit class will be required to pay additional tuition to the sponsoring university and may have to purchase textbooks.
See the curriculum guide for information regarding requirements for application, acceptance to advanced classes, and class weighting.
Any student new to the Upper School at Fort Worth Christian (all incoming freshmen and any students new to FWC) will be required to complete an entrance assignment that will be considered in decisions regarding acceptance to advanced classes. *Current 8th graders will complete this assignment in their history class this year.
Any student seeking to apply to an upper level class and took an on-level class the year before will have some of their assignments from their previous class reviewed to exhibit a fair assessment of their work in consideration for the class they're applying for.
**If your semester two average in the previous years' course falls below the required average needed for course approval it could affect your acceptance.
