Utilizing evidence-based standardized and non-standardized evaluations for motor recovery in the client's s/p stroke with resultant hemiparesis ensures reliable documentation, assists with the consistency of treatment decisions, and assists with monitoring progress. This course will focus on the results of an evidence-based review of the literature to support clinical reasoning and competent stroke rehabilitation practice. The course will also focus on the best evidence-based motor assessment to use in upper extremity rehabilitation in stroke rehabilitation.
