Teaching Students to Drive Their Learning!

MARCH 19th, 2024

Led by NPESC's Gifted Services Supervisor, Brandi Goodwin

Student engagement and agency are not about bribes and control.

It's about designing experiences that allow students to learn more and better.

Educators play a critical role in creating the conditions that allow this to happen.

Inspired by the book, Teaching Students to Drive Their Learning written by Douglas Fisher, Nancy Frey, Sarah Ortega, and John Hattie, participants in this WORKshop will engage in a brief overview of the eight modules, then CHOOSE their own learning path based on their own strengths and interests!
