Students are the center of everything we do in Kearney School District. Our goal is to ensure that every child has outstanding educational experiences, every day, no matter what. We seek to regularly celebrate our students for their extraordinary accomplishments. We do this in a number of ways, including recognitions during KSD Board of Education business meetings, write-ups in our "Bulldog Beats" magazine and celebrations on our social media channels.
Please complete this form if you would like to nominate a KSD student to be recognized for his or her outstanding accomplishment. This recognition program is designed to recognize students in grades K-12 for their exemplary academic efforts, athletic achievement, community service, citizenship, volunteer service, etc. If students are nominated for a reason besides academics, they should have demonstrated at least average academic effort, good school attendance and good discipline.
Please provide as much information as possible about why you believe this student deserves to be recognized. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee recognition. Students selected may be expected to participate in a recognition ceremony during an upcoming Board of Education meeting. They may also be asked to participate in a photo or video shoot and/or interview, and their accomplishments and image may be shared on the KSD social media channels, in the magazine or with other media. Inquiries about our student recognitions should be sent to
