For the year 2020 Padua has been elected as “European Volunteering Capital” and for our Association this means a big goal and a great opportunity! Being located in the city of Padua, Associazione Popoli Insieme
ODV is very concerned with this award. Since 1990, in fact, Popoli Insieme is an Association led by volunteers that implement most of the activities of the association.
The main idea of the project is essentially to promote volunteering, not only with asylum seekers and refugees but even in other social areas, among young people. We aim to build social cohesion in our local community and to spread it among the participant’s countries. With this main objective we are trying to offer to our participants the most effective image of Padua as a European Volunteering Capital: they will meet our local volunteers, they will visit the city, meet other NGOs, listen to the story of volunteers and of people who have changed their lives thanks to volunteers. In particular the focus will be on migration process and migrants’ inclusion. During the exchange, all the participants will have the chance to build a counter-narrative about migration issues, they will be asked to give their opinion and they will be informed about refugees’ issues among the society, in order to spread critical thinking.
Activities will be based on the principles of Non-Formal Education: outdoor education, peer-to-peer learning, intercultural dialogue, working groups, study-visits, games etc.
Фінансові умови: за правилами програми проживання, харчування та всі необхідні матеріали під час проекту забезпечуються організаторами. Кошти за квитки будуть компенсовані після проекту не більше ніж 360 евро на участника, у разі перевищення ліміту компенсації різниця покривається учасниками самостійно.
Витрати учасника:
1) Витрати на страхування - близько 200 грн
2) Участь для активних членів організації є безкоштовною. Для тих учасників, які не є активними членами організації - благодійний внесок 1200 UAH.
