Are you a Community Based Organization in need of funds to complete a minor or major project? Do you want to apply for a grant but don't know where to start? Let us help you!

There are many factors to consider when securing funding. Clear goals, objectives, and budgets are important to successful grant writing. Some grants are highly competitive and very specific. It's important that your needs align with the goals of the funding entity.

Completing the application will assist your organization, the Sports Culture and Recreation Manager, the SCR Advisory Committee, and the Economic Development Officer to better understand your organization's needs.

Once we receive your application, we can work with other municipal, provincial, and federal organizations to match your project with the grants best suited for your funding requirements.* Though we will provide you with links to specific grant applications and resources it will be up to your organization to write and submit grants. If you require assistance with the grant-writing process, please don't hesitate to make an appointment with either the SCRM or the EDO. We are happy to proof-read and offer suggestions on how to improve your grant submission.
