Montpellier-Louisville Intercultural Exchange Outbound (American) Student Application
The Montpellier-Louisville Intercultural Exchange began in 1954 as one of the many activities run jointly by the city of Louisville and her sister city of Montpellier, France. The longest-running Sister City Exchange in the United States, this program offers you (American students) a paid month-long internship in Montpellier, where you will gain first-hand knowledge of French culture, while expanding your command of the French language. At the same time, the city of Louisville hosts a comparable group of students from Montpellier.

This application form is for American students applying to live and work in Montpellier, France.

Important Things to Note:
1. You must be a US Citizen and 18 years old by 1 June 2020.

2. You must attend a mandatory orientation 10a-12p on Tuesday, 21 April 2020 in the Ekstrom Library at the University of Louisville. If you do not attend this orientation, you are subject to forfeiting your spot in this exchange program.

3. Upon completing this application, you will receive a confirmation email with a list of additional items needed, a program cost estimate, and instructions on where to send your cover letter/lettre de motivation.
