If doing the Individual Gospel Lesson, please read page 4 and 5 of your March 26th Venture booklet, Sunday Gospel, titled, "Martha and Mary Believe in Jesus" and the Connecting Gospel and Doctrine, titled, "Jesus Risks His Life to Give Life." After that, please watch the video and then answer the questions that follow.

They hope Jesus will come and heal Lazarus as he has healed so many others. They are afraid the people who tried to stone Jesus will attempt to kill him again. Thomas expresses the group's loyalty, combined with feelings of apprehension and resignation about Jesus' probable death.

Mary and Martha explain to Jesus that "Laz" is sick. They were hoping that Jesus would stop at the pharmacy to pick up a script on his way over. The followers of Jesus are concerned about this idea because they feel Jesus is being used and abused.
