WasabiCon 2024 Talent Application
Thank you for your interest in being considered for participation in this year's WasabiCon!  For 2024, Talent at our convention will fall under four categories. Please read the following to determine which category you're best suited for.

MEDIA TALENT
You are a professional voice actor, celebrity, or other industry creator who works directly in the film, television, or gaming business. This can sometimes apply to streaming talent, but only on a nationally/globally recognized level. If you fall under this category, then don't fill out this form. Instead, you or your talent agent should reach out to jax@WasabiCon.com. MEDIA TALENT are denoted by Guest Badges.

FEATURED TALENT
You are an artist, cosplayer, performer, or streamer whose work pertains to Asian pop culture, cosplay, or gaming. FEATURED TALENT are issued Talent Badges and get a 6'x8' space in the Exhibitors Hall or, based on availability, in another designated area within the convention. Additionally, FEATURED TALENT are expected to provide a minimum of two (2) hours of programming content which may include panels, workshops or - upon our request - being a judge for one of the convention's many competitions. NOTE: Musical acts and DJs would fall under this category.

COMMUNITY GROUP
You are a club, group, organization, fandom convention, or podcast that pertains to Asian pop culture, cosplay, or gaming. COMMUNITY GROUPS are issued Talent Badges and get a 6'x8' space in the Exhibitors Hall. Additionally, COMMUNITY GROUPS are expected to provide a minimum of two (2) hours of programming content which may include panels, workshops or - upon our request - being a judge for one of the convention's many competitions

INFLUENCERS
You have a strong social media following that pertains to Asian pop culture, cosplay, or gaming. INFLUENCERS are issued a Talent Badge and are asked to post content before, during, and after the convention. INFLUENCERS do not receive promotional space in the Exhibitors Hall and have no programming requirements. However, they are welcome to host panels if time and space are available. INFLUENCERS will be listed under the FEATURED TALENT category.

Please note that all applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this year's lineup.

Space is limited and a denial of appearance does not reflect on the caliber of you or your group's quality as talent. However, we (typically) avoid repeating featured talent that have already appeared regionally at similar-themed conventions in order to maintain WasabiCon's uniqueness in a the marketplace.

WasabiCon strives to achieve uniqueness in the market, so we try to avoid overlaps with other events in the region. Have you/your group been a guest/talent at or plan to be a guest/talent at any of the following events? If you are appearing as a guest/talent at any other event in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine metro area, please denote the name of the event under "Other".
