Program Overview
The Neighbor School is a community educational program from Neighbor Program that aims to increase self awareness, understanding of historical and contemporary systems, and skills to support Black & Indigenous organizers to more effectively engage in social and political action. Each session is 1-2 hours long and will be led as a lecture by 1-2 presenters.
Neighbor Program is a collective of community members committed to the liberation struggle of all Black and Brown Indigenous People, and other poor and oppressed people. The education program will feature NP leaders as well as guest lectures from other scholars, academics, revolutionaries.
The series will be offered beginning Thursday November 12th, 2020. Dates & Times subject to change but all material will be available via google classroom.
Cost: Sessions are free for ALL participants, however we will be centering and prioritizing those who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or Palestinian. Other participants are encouraged to donate based on your personal giving ability. Please donate via cashapp
