This Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement releases, holds harmless and indemnifies Believe in Bristol, City of Bristol, TN, Harvest of Hope Community Garden and all volunteers and paid staff, their successors and assigns, "the Sponsors", from and against any and all liabilities, losses, claims, injuries, demands, damages, judgments, executions, costs and expenses of every nature and kind (including reasonable attorney's fees and reasonable fees of other professionals) that occur during the hot pepper eating contest during the Bristol Pepper Festival.

By signing this Waiver and Release, I, the Participant, affirm and agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Sponsors from and against any and all liabilities, losses, claims, demands, injuries, damages, judgments, executions, costs and expenses of every nature and kind (including reasonable attorney's fees and reasonable fees of other professionals) that arise directly or indirectly from Participant's actions during the hot pepper eating contest during the Pepper Festival.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in this hot pepper eating contest. These include but are not limited to choking, shortness of breath, dizziness and/or death. I consent and confirm that I am participating voluntarily with full assumption of risks, and that I have the requisite experience, knowledge and information to participate in this activity without any assertions, warranties, and claims by the Sponsors.

Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries or death while engaging in this activity.

By signing below I forfeit and surrender all rights to bring a lawsuit or other cause of action against the Sponsors for any reason that arise directly or indirectly from Participant's actions during the hot pepper eating contest during the Bristol Pepper Festival.
