Introduction
This book is about developing the ability to make connections.  It goes through four principles called The Four Cornerstones, that help answer our questions about why math and science are important.  It also goes into detail about developing the ability to think and solve problems.  And finally, it talks about how learning to see connections leads to design genius--the ability to see patterns and create new systems that can impact everything in the world around us, from business, to education, to medicine, to family life, or to any system, whether cultural or structural.

Making connections and all the principles taught in this book can lead to developing design genius.  I believe that this ability is so important that I've spent a large part of my life teaching these skills and abilities so that more people could learn to see life as it really is and build a meaningful life, solve important problems, and make contributions.
