Youth Program Scholarship Application
This is an application for a financial scholarship through the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee at Edgeworks Climbing for participation in the following Youth Program options:

• Mini Rockers (1 day/week, 4 weeks; value $200-$230)
• Beginning Climbers (1 day/week, 4 weeks; value $200-$230)
• Junior Climbers (1 day/week, monthly; value $115 - $140)
• Club Climbers (2 days/week, monthly; value $230 - $260)
• Team Edgeworks (2 days/week, monthly, value $240 - $270; optional 3rd day, value +$50-$55)

Each fully funded scholarship includes:
• 100% of program fees
• Rental gear during program: shoes, harness, belay device
• Edgeworks membership + member benefits for the duration of the program

Program + Scholarship Administration:
Scholarships for all monthly programs will be applicable for up to 1 year after date of receipt. If the selected program is full, the applicant will be placed on the waitlist and will receive scholarship upon the start of their respective programs.

Scholarship duration:
• Mini Rockers + Beginning Climbers: Up to 2 consecutive sessions
• Junior Climbers, Club Climbers, + Team: Up to 1 year

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must come from low income households. Climber status is considered "low income" if their family's taxable income for the preceding year does not exceed 150 percent of the poverty level amount (defined by the US Department of Education).

Responses:
Application responses will not be shared publicly and recipients have the option to remain anonymous. The DEI Advisory Committee will be responsible for all applicants. Applicants will be required to sign a Youth Programs Scholarship Agreement and expected to comply with program guidelines.
