NZSSAA Track and Field Classics Tour 2024  - Expressions of Interest 
Expression of Interest will be open from Monday 11 December 2023 at 8am, and will close on Monday 18 December 2023 at 8pm.

NZSSAA are pleased to announce that following the NZSSAA Track and Field Championships in Christchurch a Classics Tour team of individual athletes will be selected to represent New Zealand Secondary Schools.

Only athletes who have been named in the NZSS Championship (paper) team 2023 will be eligible for selection into the Classics Tour team 2024.

Any athlete not selected in the Championship team may apply for selection, if they feel they have extenuating circumstances, by writing to the convener of selectors, Alec McNab alec.mcnab@collegiate.school.nz by no later than 18 December 2023.

The Classics Tour named athletes must commit to entering and competing in at least two of Classics Meets scheduled for January and February 2024.

The Classics meets scheduled are as below:

Saturday 20 January 2024: Potts Classic - Mitre 10 Park, Hawkes Bay. 25th Anniversary Meet. World Challenger.

Saturday 27 January 2024: Pak n Save Cooks Classic - Cooks Garden, Whanganui. World Challenger.

Judith Revell from the NZSSAA Executive has been appointed tour manager and will help to coordinate the athletes.
