Hello, and thank you for taking this survey. My name is Jessica Phares, and I am the new Peace Corps Strategic Campus Recruiter for the University of Washington-Seattle. The purpose of this survey is to connect university students at UW-Seattle who are interested in joining the Peace Corps with an RPCV who may have something in common with them. This includes some things like interest in serving in a specific region/country of service and sector. I would also like to connect potential volunteers with individuals who identify with underrepresented populations, such as those who are older, those who identify as women, transgender, or gender non-conforming, those who identify as an underrepresented race or ethnicity, those who identify as LGBTQ+, etc. Personally, for myself, it really helped to connect with other RPCVs who had similar identities as my own that I could ask questions to and receive honest answers.
