As part of expanding our network and projects, we are looking for better ways to create and maintain funding of our research and administration. With that, we are now looking to create and fill the role of Treasurer within our committee.
If you become a RADIANT officer, you will be taking on a role in leadership & management, which is something that is now sought after in ST1 applications and is essential when interviewing for consultant positions post-CCT.
While your role will be more administrative in nature, should you feel you have time there will be opportunities to get into research projects and data collection. You will be expected to put in a couple of hours work per month, attend monthly RADIANT meetings, and be willing to dedicate at least 18 months to the role (with a 6 month probationary period).
The Treasurer will be expected to:
- Create a new bank account for the committee, following guidelines from the bank and RCR to ensure we comply with the relevant rules and regulations
- Consent to being an authorised signatory on the aforementioned bank account
- Facilitate changes in authorised signatories as new and old Treasurers/Chairs join or leave the committee.
- Monitor our accounts and spending
- Keep excellent records, including creating and managing invoices
- Prepare and present the end of year financial reports
- Ensure that RADIANT adheres to its budgeting goals
- Liaise with sponsors of future conferences and AGMs
- Adhere to GDPR guidelines.
- Attend monthly committee meetings.
