The weight of keeping myself safe through isolation has been seeping into me more and more, especially as so many protections for slowing community spread have been abandoned and become a matter of personal politics instead of collective safety and care.

For my Disabled folx, for my folx who are high-risk for covid-19 & struggling with how abled folx and ableist institutions are so desperate to return to a normal that leaves us behind without a care for the casualty of our Disabled deaths, I’m grieving with you still.

Through this grief, I’ve been dreaming on co-creating intimate online space with you. Crip ritual space for resourcing ourselves & sharing our resources, to be in solidarity, to continue cripping the pandemic by being in community without putting ourselves or anyone else at risk.
