NCAR-NEON Community Workshop Application
This installment in our series of NCAR-NEON Workshops will focus on using NCAR-NEON modeling and data visualization tools to develop new research avenues and obtain feedback on how this collaboration can best serve the community going forward.

This will be an in-person workshop with attendance via an application process. Virtual participation will be available, but will be constrained to attending presentations and tutorials.

Those interested in attending in-person must complete this Workshop Application by 5pm MST, Friday February 17. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by March 10.

The NEON/NCAR Workshop aims to support a diverse group of participants from groups historically excluded in STEM fields in the United States. The NSF traditionally defines “historically excluded and/or under-served in the STEM enterprise” as “Blacks and African Americans, Alaska Natives, Hispanics and Latinos, Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, Native Pacific Islanders, persons with disabilities, persons from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, women and girls, as well as intersectional identities” (from the NSF INCLUDES call), however, we recognize that there are other axes of identity not listed here but still underrepresented in STEM.
Do you consider yourself to be a member of a group underrepresented in STEM in the US? (check one).

If you answered yes to the previous question, please explain in as much detail as you are comfortable sharing. Note that this information will only be shared internally by the NEON/NCAR organizing committee. If you are selected as a participant we may request more detailed demographic information later, which will still be optional to report (max 500 words).
